Buses, Boats, and Monorails - The Ins and Outs of Disney Transportation

When you visit Walt Disney World on vacation, the network of Disney transportation is yours to use.  It's really like a small city with a huge public transportation network!  Here is an overview:

-Monorail:

Perhaps the most famous of the Disney transportation options, monorail train lines connect Magic Kingdom with its parking area (called the Transportation and Ticketing Center or TTC) and surrounding resorts like the Grand Floridian. Another line connects the TTC to Epcot.

-Skyliner:

This newest transportation option, a closed gondola system, has its hub at the Caribbean Beach Resort. From there, Skyliners serve Hollywood Studios, the Riviera resort and the International Gateway of Epcot, and the Pop Century and Art of Animation resorts.

-Boats:

Ferry boats transport guests from the TTC to Magic Kingdom as an alternative to the Monorail. Smaller resort boats connect Magic Kingdom to surrounding resorts, Epcot International Gateway and Hollywood Studios to surrounding resorts, and Disney Springs to surrounding resorts. It's a huge fleet!

-Buses:

Finally, buses connect all resorts and destinations not served by other methods of transportation.

Not sure how to get from Point A to Point B? Try the Transportation and Parking option on the My Disney Experience app. If you turn on Google maps, it will even give you walking directions between specific attractions. Happy traveling!
